Macbeth

I think that Macbeth is so far better than any other play by Shakespeare i have read in the past. It has an interesting plot line, and is something that i actually enjoy reading somewhat. I don't think its too gory at all. The only questions I would have is why the witches have only appeared once so far? I would think they would be more a main part in the play.
